l explores how social determinants influence health equity, particularly among marginalized communities. His interdisciplinary approach combines bioethics and social philosophy to uncover nuanced ways in which technology can both alleviate and exacerbate existing disparities.


Current Research Projects

My current projects investigate the historical impacts of sterilization programs on Latinx communities, critically analyze AI implementation in healthcare through a social justice lens, evaluate emerging technologies' ethical implications, and assess surveillance tech's effects on community health.

Engaged Philosopher & Educator

As an engaged philosopher, l bridge academic discourse with community experiences, focusing on social justice issues such as immigration enforcement and the impact of emerging technologies. I also mentors and teaches, fostering inclusive pedagogy that addresses real-world challenges.
